Alison and Iain’s pre wedding shoot / shoot for Alfie!! 😜🖤

This lovely pair said they wanted a pre wedding shoot to get to know me and how I work and get some photos of the two of them that weren’t selfies! But really, come on, let’s be honest it was always going to be about their best boy Alfie!! 😆😍😍

What a character! He’s adorable! We went to a couple of locations and despite him being a little bit tired he just got more excited he was having more than one walk!! He also never goes in the water apparently, but loved paddling in the waters of Dye up Cairn’ o’ Mount.

The balancing act with the engagement ring was Alison’s idea - She’d seen it somewhere and loved it. I just suggested their hands underneath as I was so worried he was going to flip it like a bit of sausage and swallow it! But he didn’t 😥 phew! Also how cute does he look! And he of course did get some sausage once the ring was safely back on Alison’s finger!

I think we’ll stick to the bouquet as a prop on the wedding day with 3 rings to balance 😝💍

This is Ryan and his Dad just having a little moment together on the dance floor. Ryan’s son squished in the middle 🥰 Proud father moment, full of love.

Back in July, I photographed the most beautiful wee ‘ceremini’ at the Linn of Quoich on Mar Lodge Estate. 🩵

Tamsin and Richard, along with their very nearest and dearest, gathered at the Fife Arms to get ready before heading to the Quoich, where they said their vows right beside the famous Punch Bowl.

The lovely Sheona was their celebrant, and there was a brilliant surprise from James and the bagpipes immediately after they said “aye do!” 🥹

Tamsin’s two daughters made the most gorgeous bridesmaids, while their three labs took on the very important roles of ring bearers and best dog! 🐾😂

Richard has been lovingly restoring his Land Rover over the last year or so, so of course it was the perfect way for the newlyweds to travel back to the Fife Arms in Braemar. We stopped for photos along the way, surrounded by some of the most incredible scenery, before finding even more beautiful spots inside the hotel.

After the speeches, I left them to enjoy the rest of their celebrations and, naturally, drove back to the Quoich for a swim myself! Lush. 🩵🥰

Honestly, it was one of those days that had everything … love, laughter, dogs, bagpipes, epic scenery and a dip in the river to finish 💦

All in all, the perfect day! 🥰

Wow… what can I say?! This was certainly one way to wrap up August’s weddings! 😍

Emily and John really do know how to throw a good wedding, and Fasque Castle is the most gorgeous venue run by the loveliest staff. Thanks Brooke! 🥰

I absolutely loved John’s speech. He told everyone how he wanted to get married in England, while Emily wanted Scotland… so naturally, they compromised and got married in Scotland! 😜😂💙

Emily’s dress and her whole vision for their wedding day were just beautiful, and I really hope I did it all justice with their sneak peeks.

After receiving them today, this was their message…

“Oh my gosh we love them!!! We’re sitting in the sun in Dunkeld and have just gone through them — they’re gorgeous! Thank you so, so much for everything on Saturday. The photos are beautiful and we so loved having you as part of our day. John and I can’t wait for the next batch in a few weeks!! ###”

And honestly… this is why I love my job so much. 🥹🥰

Who needs promotions and appraisals from a boss when you get messages like this?! 😂😁

When Taymee & Charlie suggested having more photos in their wedding outfits on their first anniversary I absolutely could not say no! Apart from anything else it was just so lovely to see them both again!

We met in Braemar and headed down the road to the Linn of Dee stopping in a lay-by for some big sky backdrops. Then we had rivers, waterfalls, trees, bridges, heather and of course Queen Vic’s picnic hut!

Their sense of adventure is much like mine! They’ll climb down onto any rock and traipse through the undergrowth for a good spot for a photo! 🙌🏻💜

After the shoot we stopped for a brew sitting round Felix my camper and swatting the midge! 🦟😬

I heard all about their honeymoon in South Africa and we had a good ol’ catch up!

Same time again next year??! 😜🥰

Oh and thank you for my wild swimming gift box and for booking me again for more photos. It means the world 🥹❤️

Watch this one to the end to see how many gorgeous locations we managed in ONE day! 💚

This is Kayla & Jake, who flew all the way from Atlanta to elope on the Isle of Skye.

I picked them up from the airport on the Tuesday and dropped them at their Airbnb and camped nearby so we could be up early to beat the crowds at the Fairy Pools… and we succeeded, BUT instead we were joined by approximately ONE BILLION midges! 🦟😫

It was a lovely ceremony by robbiethecelebrant though and Scotland really pulled out all the atmospheric cards with the rain and clouds rolling around the peaks. 🩶☔️

From there we explored waterfalls, the coast, the Quiraing, hidden little tracks, Sligachan and even squeezed in a quick stop at Eilean Donan Castle. Although that was just for Kayla and Jake to take a selfie - we honestly couldn’t move for tourists and would have needed to go back later but we were all so shattered by this point! 😴😜

The beauty of an elopement like this is that there’s no rushing though. We just jumped in my campervan Felix, explored, stopped wherever we wanted and made a whole adventure of it. 🥰

So many laughs, some slightly questionable weather, a teeny tiny bit of road rage on the single track roads and busy car parks with tourists being daft (my apologies!) 😬🤣 the most stunning scenery and SOOO many beautiful memories.

What an incredible couple of days. It was such a privilege to be there to capture it. 💚

Last Saturday I had the loveliest time capturing Fiona & Michael’s wedding at the Riverside Cafe Bar in Dyce. Riverside Cafe Bar 🤎

It was about the third wedding in a row where I’ve had the pleasure of working alongside the lovely Darren, registrar from Aberdeen Registry Office. 💚

The gorgeous flowers were created by Anastasia Florists, with hair and make-up beautifully done by NATALIE FEARNLEY - Luxury Bridal Makeup Artist, Scotland and Jelena Karpenko | WEDDING & BRIDAL HAIR.

I think my favourite part of the day was just being amongst all their lovely friends and family and watching the two of them enjoy it all.

And the children! 🥰 Their own kids, nieces and all the little ones running around brought SO much fun to the day. I spent a good proportion of it either giggling behind my camera or quietly saying “ahhhh, so cute!” 😂

A really relaxed, happy, family-filled wedding — and such a joy to be the one capturing all those little moments for them. 🤎

We’ve been without internet at home for just over two weeks now. I’ve been hanging out a window for 1 bar of 4g for WhatsApp and driving to a nearby lay-by for 3 bars to send and receive emails. It’s been a bit nuts. This is the best form of live streaming though right? And we got the old DVD player out for entertainment and found the Lost Boys and The Goonies to watch! 🦇🪎🙌🏻😍😜

Apologies for any late replies though or a delay in editing. 90% of my edits are by hand but there’s a small percentage that need a bit of AI for unwanted fire exit signs and the like! 🙈

Hopefully today we’re getting reconnected 🤞🏻🤞🏻😬🤞🏻🤞🏻
