Emma & René’s wedding was a little different to most.
From our first conversation, they spoke about their connection to nature and how they were drawn to my photographs that placed people within the landscape, rather than apart from it. They wanted to feel the environment in their images—the space, the atmosphere, and the sense of being fully present within it.
What made the day so enjoyable was how naturally they were with one another. There was no need to manufacture moments or direct interactions. Their connection was effortless, relaxed, and full of genuine affection.
That freedom allowed me to approach the day a little differently, looking beyond the obvious and focusing on the relationship between the couple and the landscape around them. The result was a collection of images that felt honest, spacious, and true to who they are.
A genuinely wonderful day with a genuinely wonderful couple.
