The story of Rose and Mitch wedding — Peckham Rye 🤍

Some wedding days move fast. This one moved like a perfect Saturday should — unhurried, sun-soaked, and full of the kind of small moments that are easy to miss unless you’re really looking for them.

It started at their place, with some friends and a very serious tie-tying tutorial on YouTube. There’s something about the getting-ready hours I love photographing most — it’s the last bit of the day that belongs to just them, before it belongs to everyone else.

From there, a quiet portrait session at Peckham Rye, their local park.

Before the ceremony, everyone gathered at LOUIE to catch up over coffee and get ready to walk over together — that lovely, slightly nervous energy of a wedding party about to set off.

Then on to Southwark Registry Office, with the people who love them most — clapping, crying a little, and cheering for the confetti

And because no London wedding day is complete without a proper pub garden in the sun, the afternoon spilled into Grove House Tavern for a toast.

This is exactly why I do what I do — guiding just enough to bring out real moments, then stepping back to let the day tell its own story

The Asylum Chapel in Peckham is one of my favourite venues to shoot at 🕯️

It's an old, crumbling chapel with stained glass windows and candles everywhere, so it's got a really different, moody feel compared to most wedding venues. Every corner gives you something different to shoot.

Getting ready above the pub, vows under fairy lights and greenery, at The County Arms in London — this is exactly why I love documentary wedding photography in London 🍻💍

Some of my favourite bits from this day: the dress carried up those deep red pub stairs, the quiet hand-holding moment before the rings went on, that kiss when they were pronounced married, and hugging everyone who mattered most just outside on the way to celebrate. And of course, that classic red London bus in the background of their portrait — you really can't get more London than that.

Wandsworth Town Hall, confetti on the steps, and a stolen kiss outside The Spread Eagle
— this is exactly the kind of documentary London wedding I love to shoot 💍🍺

What I loved about this one: the top hats, the confetti chaos on those beautiful old steps, the whole wedding party stopping for a laugh and a photo, and then that unplanned moment outside the pub where London just carried on walking past two people mid-kiss.

Another post of a beautiful day at the English Garden in Streatham, followed by a walk down to for the reception 🌿🍻

I loved this one — from confetti and laughter on those old brick garden steps, to a cheeky brewery portrait among the tanks, to a marquee full of bunting and good food from as the evening rolled on. This is exactly the kind of day I live for: real hugs, real laughter, zero posing.

That moment right after signing the register — confetti going everywhere and not a single posed smile in sight.

Southwark Register Office does this so well. No fuss, no big production, just family and close friends packed onto the steps waiting to throw everything they've got the second the doors open.

Congrats to this gorgeous couple — such a joyful one to shoot.

Katy and Heinz said their vows surrounded by wildflowers at the English Garden in Stretham — genuinely one of the simplest, freshest ceremony settings I've shot in a while. No fuss needed when the setting does that much of the work.

From there we all headed over to for a properly delicious lunch from . And of course the flowers throughout the day were from — Rebecca's a huge champion of the Rookery and one of Inkspot Brewery's biggest supporters, and it shows every time. She's provided the flowers for so many of our weddings now and always brings those extra little touches that make the day.

Congrats again to Katy and Heinz — such a lovely, relaxed one to be part of.
