There’s something so special about welcoming a new baby into a family… but I think seeing a big brother or sister become part of that journey is just as beautiful 🤍

The excitement, the cuddles, the little smiles and all those moments of connection as everyone gets to know the newest member of the family.

One of the loveliest parts of my job is when families come back to me with their second little baby 🥹 Seeing a tiny newborn I once photographed become a proud big brother or sister is something that never gets old.

Newborn sessions aren’t just about capturing your newest arrival. They’re about capturing your family exactly as you are in those first precious weeks together 🤍

Half a year of love. 🤍

Six months is such a fun age to photograph. Little personalities are shining through, smiles come so easily, and every expression tells a story. From those tiny hands grabbing little toes to the biggest gummy grins, it's a stage that passes far too quickly.

I loved welcoming this beautiful family into the studio to capture these precious milestones together!

If your little one is around 6–9 months it's the perfect time to book a sitter session. They're full of personality, curiosity and the sweetest smiles.

This little sweetheart spent most of her session peacefully asleep, giving us the dreamiest cuddly newborn portraits.

Then, just as I settled her into this basket, she gave the tiniest smile in her sleep. 💕

Those fleeting little expressions only last a second, but they're the moments parents never want to forget.

Every newborn session is different. Some babies love to stretch, some pull funny faces, some stay wide awake... and every now and then, you're lucky enough to catch one of these precious sleepy smiles.

It's one of the reasons I never rush a session. We simply follow baby's lead and wait for those beautiful little moments to happen naturally.

The tiniest details… 🤍

One of my favourite parts of every newborn session is capturing all of those little details that change so quickly.

Tiny fingers wrapped around Mum or Dad's hand. Perfect little toes. Delicate ears. Soft wisps of hair.

These beautiful details were captured during a recent newborn session in my cosy Sidcup studio, and they're often the photographs that become even more precious as the years go by.

Babies grow in the blink of an eye, which is why I love preserving these tiny moments for families to treasure forever.
