2025 was my make or break year!

A little dramatic, I know, but that’s genuinely how I was feeling.

Spoiler alert - I’m still here!!

On reflection, that’s probably why I made the decisions I did. It suddenly felt like now or never. I couldn’t just think about what I wanted for my business anymore, I had to take action.

So I took action: invested in skills training .phood and a business coach , and started with .hyper

So what did I learn in 2025?

Being all-consumed by your business will only take you so far. You need a community. You need cheerleaders. You need soundboards. You need help working through those self-limiting beliefs.

If you’ve made your hobby your career, you need to create opportunities to create without pressure and just for joy.

My word for 2025 was BRAVE, and I feel I mostly embodied it.

The biggest heartfelt thank you to all the businesses and organisations that took a chance on me and recommended me. You made my year, and I’m still here because of you!

Special shoutout to my team - our monthly class has been the highlight of every month. And to - you’ve created a space where entrepreneurs, creatives and locals can connect and collaborate. You’ve built a community that helps us celebrate what we have in common, appreciate our differences and feel less alone. That feels so needed right now.

Meet Alison, the founder of

She teaches food and nutrition way beyond normal classroom walls. After years working in schools, Alison stepped away to create something different for her students, from primary age right through to GCSE and A-level, and even into the corporate space.

She’s built this incredible outdoor learning space surrounded by nature. There’s water trickling into a koi-filled pond, chickens clucking away in the background, and education that happens everywhere. In the greenhouse with seeds, collecting fresh eggs, cooking outdoors on a real wood fire, and in her beautiful kitchen. Together with her team, Sue and Vic, they teach students how to cook and understand the nutrition behind wholesome, seasonal meals.

I’ve known Alison for years. I captured her gorgeous outdoor wedding, and over time I’ve been documenting her brand and who she truly is. We’ve talked dreams, collaborations, and about our families.

We’d already done a shoot a couple of years ago, but this time I wanted to capture something different. She and her team needed to be front and centre, and we needed to show the curriculum and experiences in action, the importance of balanced, seasonal eating, and the heart of what they’ve built together at

Out of Office

I’m officially taking a few days off to celebrate something big – my baby boy turning 10! Double digits feels as monumental as it looks.

Following advice from , I’m learning to celebrate myself too. It’s been a whirlwind summer and 8 weeks since school started. Balancing life with working with amazing clients, creating photography, films, and design work, each with their own strategy... this creative brain is ready for some rest!

Can anyone else relate to needing to feel “entitled” to rest?

I’ve made myself a little wins list (check comments 👇) so I can switch off knowing I’ve achieved something worth celebrating. The brain wants what it wants!

Meet Tejal, the founder of

She’s a brand strategist and designer. Watching her business grow over the years has been incredible. She went from a one-woman graphic designer to running a full design agency! I’ve had the privilege of photographing pretty much so many stages of that journey.

When we started planning this shoot, Tejal came prepared. She already knew exactly what she wanted - which makes total sense when you’re a strategist who understands the power of intentional imagery. She picked a light filled space, and together we created a mood board that would cover everything: printed materials, presentation backdrops, LinkedIn content, you name it.

I absolutely loved doing this shoot. Tejal’s one of those people I genuinely look up to and turn to for advice, so getting to capture her in her element felt special.
