Who remembers this touring when Stewart Miller opened it in Scotland? Fun Fair Rides caught up with it today in Nottinghamshire.

Where did you see/ ride it?

Wesseldine’s classic Toboggan open in Eastwood, Nottingham at the moment.

I always thought this was a really clever idea by Chance Rides, LLC to make a roller coaster as easy to travel as possible on two trailers, an easy build up with low labour and a compact footprint while yet still high unlike many other roller coasters at the time in the 1960s and 1970s.

It proved a massive success in the USA and others like this one which originated at Coney Island found new homes abroad. This one would travel with several owners as well as open at Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach in the 1990’s
