You are now three weeks old and I am emerging from the nest. How wonderful you are and what amazing happiness you have brought to us. Every time you appear in the room Ivo shouts ‘baby’ as if no one else can see you and pointing out all your features from your eyes to your fingers as if he can’t quite believe you are real. Sylvia nestles into you whispering such loving words and describing the garden or room that you are in. I can only feel a huge love, luck and euphoric relief, what fearsome warriors women are to go through pregnancy and birth. I’m so happy you are safely here and we can get on with life.
