Begun under Henry VI in 1446 and completed by the reign of Henry VIII, the chapel carries within its walls the ambition of kings and the artistry of generations. Its soaring fan vault, the largest in the world, spreads like wings overhead, while its vast stained-glass windows glow with light and colour. From above, it appears as both fortress and sanctuary, a living emblem of history, faith, and the enduring spirit of Cambridge.
