Showing some appreciation for the insects today- the beautiful painted lady. Although extremely common and some would say ordinary I believe it is extraordinary in every way and summer in the UK wouldn’t be complete without seeing them.

Somehow I can’t stop looking at my less than “scroll stopping” photos when back… There is something so intriguing and captivating about watching an animal from afar within its environment.

This Heron was standing watch for a long time standing ever up right and regal.

This may just be a natural progression of photography where not everything has to be close but I’m loving the evolution of it all and discovering what I love about it and how to creatively challenge myself rather than being stagnant.
