Afternoon Everyone, firstly, I hope that everyone is well and keeping safe during these trying times.
Obviously due to the current lockdown, I'm unable to offer any photography services, but I've been thinking about the future and how I will be able to operate when lockdown is eased. Anyone that has an existing voucher for my services, I would like to assure them that the voucher will be extended indefinitely and any expiry date shown can be ignored.
In previous years, I have had photo days at various locations, but the consensus seems to be that even when lockdown is eased, there will be an element of social distancing that will have to be maintained. This will probably mean that hiring a hall or doing shoots in peoples houses would be difficult to manage whilst observing distancing and there would be a requirement to thoroughly clean equipment for each shoot, so probably unfeasible in the short to medium term.
What I am looking to do when lockdown is eased and government guidelines permit it, is to offer outside photoshoots. I have done quite a few of these previously and they have always been popular. This will allow social distancing to be maintained, payments would be via PayPal or bank transfer so no hand to hand contact would be required, delivery of images would be via email or messenger, again, to reduce any contact. I would also make the images available on a USB stick and there would be the option to purchase prints, frames etc.
The cost for the shoots would be £75 for a 30 minute session, there would be at least 25 individual images (each one would be in colour and black and white, so at least 50) and in all likelihood, there would be considerably more. The above cost will include all the high resolution images by email/messenger and on a USB drive, with the option to purchase prints, frames etc.
Obviously, I can't take any advance bookings at this stage, but if anyone is interested, please email me or reply to this message and I will send out updates as and when official advice allows.
