Hottest ticket in Manchester this year is for the viaduct tour as it might only be a 12 month event, though fingers crossed it will remain a permanent attraction.
National Trust have created a lovely garden in the sky on this section of rail viaduct, last used in 1969.
Nice guided walk on a piece of history from the railway times.
Easy access for wheelchairs, scooters and other aids, plenty of seating if you need a rest. We accessed via lift at Deansgate - Castlefield tram stop, was a smooth easy access to and on the viaduct.
Well worth a visit, though advance booking is required as numbers on the viaduct are restricted.

Zoo with a lot of history and well worth a visit. You will need a full day and will still not see it all.
We have taken out membership so we can visit more and take time observing the animals.
Refreshments are available all over and plenty of places for picnics if you want to bring your own.
Disabled access is good in all areas for those with mobility aids, wheelchairs and mobility scooters.
Mobility scooters are available for a refundable deposit.
Highly reccomended, will be adding more photos/videos on future visits.

Lovely gardens with an interesting history to learn about during a visit.
Formal gardens, woodland walks or just chill on one of many lawns and seats around.
Children's activities were on the tennis lawn and there was a woodland walk with natural play area.
Refreshments are available with indoor and outdoor seating.
Due to the geography of the location there are many steps. Large scooters like mine are restricted to lower areas, though smaller scooters, wheelchairs and other mobility aids could get further. Some areas are only accessible with care using walking sticks, plenty of places to rest if distance a problem.
Highly reccomended day out for all the family to enjoy.

An amazing 500yr old Tudor manor house and small gardens within a moat where very little is square, most is very wonky.
Lovely little cafe for indoor or outdoor drinks, scones and other snacks. Friendly ducks and ducklings may join you outside around the tables.
Outside of the moat during our visit were children's activities, school holiday time.
Outside is suitable for scooters, wheelchairs and walking aids.
Inside the house is only suitable for walking sticks, with care stairs and wonky floors are accessible.
Highly reccomended day out for all the family of any age.
