You don't necessarily need the reflexes of a cat nowadays with modern cameras having pre capture which can record up to 20 frames in the half a second before you actually press the shutter button. Even so these images (combined in Photoshop) took a lot of attempts before I managed to get some that were even remotely sharp.. Insects love Verbena Bonariensis, which thankfully means you don't have to wait long for the next insect to arrive.
