Lovely to see a (Ham Wall) bittern warming itself in the (very)early morning sun - lots of preening - I kept the camera on it for well over an hour hoping it would fly up - but it just slowly walked back into the reeds and disappeared from view!

Feeling very pleased with the first few shots I'm processing from today's photo shoot with the red kites at Gigrin farm.
