Lovely warm day in Bordeaux. This is a very cool water feature, the birds love it.

Its been a quiet photo day today as we sail down to Bordeaux. For anyone who doesnt know, I am lucky to be able to travel with Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines and help their guests with photography and astronomy. First talk today with 100 or so coming along. Its almost a year to the day since I was able to photograph one of the coolest squalls from the top deck of Balmoral, just off Molde in Norway. I chose it for the September page in my 2026 calendar. The 2027 one will be live at the end of the month. A few improvements this year. Thanks for reading.

Back in beautiful Honfleur today. Got some nice skies before the rain came. Cool sculptures and the classic pano of the old harbour.

In 2023 we were lucky to visit the Owens Valley Radio telescopes run by Cal Tech in California. Just after I set up my camera, the telescope dish rotated into this position which was perfect. I also got over 100 mozzie bites due to the adjacent swamp! I wasnt happy with the first edit so updated on the store.

Lucky to be heading back to France and Belgium on our last cruise for a while. We have discovered some beautiful places in the last year. This is one of the many fantastic streets of Rouen in the early light. Fingers crossed for nice weather.

More from the Giants Causeway. I don't know the person on here but I imagine we were both thinking WOW.

Nice to get back to editing landscapes. First vist to the Giants Causeway in May this year. If you go, try and stay local as it gets realy quiet for sunset (and the Hotel does great Guiness)

Black and white eclipsed Corona from a couple of weeks ago. I have taken photos of 2 eclipses now and still not got it totally right. Maybe next year in Egypt!

Just discovered Astrowizard, post processing software for Seestar images. Makes a big difference and easy to use.
