Popped in to the artists' evening earlier (which is still going on as I type this!)....lots of great work on display, with a variety of mediums to enjoy....and really well organized too

Happy to say my Real Bubble of Manchester's Worker Bee will be on display at the Manchester Open at Home in the city centre from next month

The open is an exhibition showcasing local artists, and will kick off with a private viewing on January 17th, after which it is open to the public and free to have a look around....

Going through my pictures after a day of bubble chasing is always exciting - and sometimes a bit nerve wracking - for me....it's when I get to look at each bubble in detail, check which ones are actually in focus, and decide which ones are going to become my Real Bubbles

This picture is of the back of my camera yesterday, and shows exactly what my bubbles look like as caught in-camera, so you can see all the real colours and details on the bubble itself

This particular bubble was caught as part of a private commission in Oldham, Manchester

A quick video of me trying to capture a bubble for a private commission earlier today in Oldham

I'd be lying if i said it's easy....bubbles don't tend to hang around, and the wind is my ultimate nemesis. Nonetheless, with a bit of patience, i was able to catch a good'un i think/hope (not properly gone through them yet!)

Ahead of next weekend's i visited the city to capture some of its key features in my own unique way....cue a lot of bubble blowing, bubble chasing, waiting for the damn wind to die down, more bubble blowing, and a few captured

This image is of the back of my camera as i photographed in the reflection of a bubble, and shows exactly how the photograph looks when first caught in-camera....so all the detail and all the colours are there....and if you look closely, you'll see my own reflection, which is the only part of the scene I manipulate afterwards (to get rid of myself)

So make sure to come and see my Real Bubbles in the flesh (so to speak) at on November 16th and 17th....
