Another view of my favourite church: the Methodist Church, Llangollen. I took this photo back in 2025 and I remember thinking that if John Constable had ever visited Llangollen, he would probably have chosen this view to paint.

There's a lot of detail in this that I only ssaw when editing, like the little Mallard swimming valiantly upstream and the kids' rope swing hidden in the trees on the left.

This is one of my favourite spots to photograph, especially in winter. The view would be beautiful anyway, but the wonderful walled lane elevates it to a Tolkienesque landscape. It's the closest thing I've found to The Shire and it's just outside of Betws-y-Coed! I'm not going to say exactly where as it's a lovely quiet spot and I'd like to keep it that way ;-)

I call this photo Welsh Trinity because it depicts three famous Welsh symbols: Dolbadarn Castle, Yr Wyddfa / Snowdon (cloaked in cloud) and the Welsh flag. This was taken on a very cold, winter's day just before Christmas.
