• H I ! •
Well, hello there - it's been a small while! How are you all? I tentatively dipped my toe back into the land of photography this weekend with a beautiful newborn shoot, and what a gorgeous way it was to return! 📸 I'm not quite sure how things are going to look yet, as I'm still very much soaking up all the snuggles and gazing at Kit's slightly-bigger-but-still-tiny hands during night feeds, so thank you in advance for your patience as I work out the how/what/where/when!

Also, a further thank you for your patience with emails and messages over the last 10ish months: I'm hoping to start getting back on top of my admin over the next couple of weeks 🤞

We are over the moon to announce the safe arrival of our fourth grassling: Kit Theodore Harding. Born at home on 18th June 2025, just after 4am with the dawn chorus 🐦‍⬛

Only two months late posting this (!), but we have been deep in the newborn bubble, and enjoying our time together as a family of six.

Hannah is on maternity leave until March 2026.

• M A T E R N I T Y •
Well, here we are! My maternity leave starts tomorrow, which is all kinds of exciting... and I must admit that I'm feeling pretty nervous too. This pregnancy feels like it has both simultaneously flown by and lasted forever! Time is a funny thing. And now I feel like I'm firmly in the 'zwischen' period; the realm of the in-between - waiting for our newest grassling to arrive ✨

I just wanted to post a little thank you for all of your support and love 💕 It's always such an honour to be trusted to capture your beautiful families and incredible businesses year after year, and I'm already looking forward to seeing you all again when once I'm back!

I will be returning to the pumpkin patch this coming October and utilising some of my KIT (Keeping In Touch) days for our annual fun 🎃 So please keep an eye out for information about those sessions in the early autumn.

My fabulous administrator (my husband Nick 😂) will post a little update once Baby has arrived! Nick will also be checking and replying to my emails sporadically, so if you'd like to book a shoot for 2026, or just fancy saying "hi!", then it would be so lovely to hear from you 💕

• ✨ N E W S ✨ •
A little bit of news...
We are very excited to be welcoming our final grassling - a little boy - into our family this coming June! All being well, I will be going on maternity leave at the beginning of June, although winding down photo sessions at the end of April, so I can spend May alternating between editing, nesting and napping 😂

I will be utilising some of my KIT (Keeping In Touch) days for pumpkin sessions this October as it's my 5th year at the amazing , and I couldn't miss seeing your beautiful faces! And I will be back to work fully in March 2026 to continue documenting your gorgeous families, magical memories, and wonderful businesses.

I've spent the day planning the coming weeks and replying to all of your lovely emails 💌 It's been a very productive day, so thank you so much for keeping me busy - the next few months are looking exciting, with faces new and old!

The rest of the week looks like final edits on a beautiful brand Story session from earlier this month, and the last few preparations for a magical shoot that I'm holding this weekend ✨

Happy Love Day, Happy Friday AND Happy Half Term 🎉 My out of office is on, we have an evening of celebration ahead (with added dimsum 🥟👌), and I'm looking forward to a few days of adventures with the grasslings.

Gosh, it's so clear and beautiful out tonight ✨ We spotted so many planets and constellations on the walk to Cubs this evening!

And what a brilliant excuse to post this 📸 from my shoot with the wonderful at the end of last year. It was such a fab day with lots of incredible children and inspirational books!

Hello and Happy New Year! I know it's a teeny bit late (especially considering January has already been 638 days long), but 2025 has not started quite the way I expected! However, I've been back at my desk this week planning the year ahead and also editing the most magical Story session from earlier this month 🎉. Very much looking forward to finishing the final edits today and sending the photos off to their new home ✨

The shoot I've been working on has reminded me that I didn't get round to sharing *many* of the photos that I loved from last year, so I thought I'd 'kick off' 2025 (on 30th January 😂) with one of my favourite Story sessions from last year with the beautiful .pcosnutritionist 📸

When you're finally allowed to start tucking into the Christmas food 👆😂

Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas Eve (arguably the best day of the year) and a very Merry Christmas for tomorrow 🎄 I fully intend to be seeing December out surrounded by cheese, and I hope you are all having a lovely time, however you may be spending the festive period.

When the school's Head of Music asks for pictures of your children playing their instruments out of school 👌 Thank you for the most perfectly positioned piano! There is something incredibly magical about listening to music played live outside in nature, especially when you're bathed in golden hour light ✨🌻

I've been trying to post this all week, but time has conspired against me 😂 I have no idea how it's Friday evening already! October is here, and the weather has been beautiful in East Yorkshire for a few days now - it's giving me hope for some gorgeous golden light over the coming weeks to match the beautiful autumnal leaves (and orange pumpkins!) 🍂

Autumn Equinox kisses 🍂💕

Our Equinox plans didn't quite work out this evening as the sea fret was pretty heavy, and it was too windy to light our little stove for pancakes 🙈 But we did have an excellent blustery walk along the beach... and then came home for pancakes 👌 Bring on the season of gorgeous colours, beautiful golden light, and cosy knits! What is your favourite thing about autumn?
