📷 The Weekly Focus #4
Simple tips. Better images. Every week.
👇 This week: The Exposure Triangle – Bringing it all together
ISO, aperture and shutter speed all work together to control how bright your image is.
The simple truth:
• ISO controls how sensitive your camera is to light
• Aperture controls how much is in focus
• Shutter speed controls how movement appears
Why it matters:
If you change one setting, it affects the others.
For example:
• Lower ISO = cleaner image, but needs more light
• Wider aperture = more light and blurrier background
• Faster shutter speed = sharper action, but less light
👉 Golden Rule: Change one setting, then think about what else needs adjusting.
📸 Mini challenge:
Take one photo in manual mode and change just one setting at a time.
Try:
• ISO 100 to ISO 800
• f/4 to f/11
• 1/1000 sec to 1/125 sec
Compare what changes in brightness, sharpness and movement.
