The Hill Family ❤️

I’ve had the best photo session with the Hill family last Sunday. It felt like slipping into a quiet chapter of their story.

We met earlier than planned, trying to outrun the forecasted rain, and instead found the softest light tucked between the trees of the Manjushiri in Ulverston.

Their little boy wandered ahead with wild curiosity, their baby girl curled safely against her mother’s warmth, and I simply followed, watching their love unfold in the gentlest ways.

I felt so privileged to walk beside them, to witness these fleeting moments becoming memories, and to capture the kind of magic that only appears when a family is truly themselves.

A winter walk along Roanhead Beach with the Mulgrew family, wrapped up warm and making the most of a bright, chilly day. We strolled along the shore and through the sand dunes, taking it slow and letting everything unfold naturally.

Two little boys at the centre of it all: one full of laughter, silly faces, and endless energy. I don’t think I’ve ever met a funnier little boy. The other boy, happiest snuggled into mum or dad’s arms, watching the world and his big brother with wide-eyed wonder.

Add in a dog racing off to say hello to everyone in sight and a dad following behind - slightly amused, slightly frazzled - and you have the most beautiful chaos. 😂

These are the kind of moments I love to document: warm, authentic, and full of love in all its perfectly imperfect forms. 🥹

A big thank you to the Mulgrews for letting me capture these precious memories. 🫶🏼

A quiet winter morning at Askam Beach, with hardly another soul in sight. Just the sea, the stillness, and the Martin family in their own little world.

Their little boy was all smiles, full of wide-eyed curiosity, mesmerised by the camera in my hands. It was such a privilege to capture these moments as they unfolded, and by the end, he drifted peacefully to sleep in his dad’s arms. Maybe beach sessions really are the secret to the perfect nap!
