This shows land on the Kelling Estate in north Norfolk which forms part of the Hornsea 3 cable route. With the 60km project nearing completion in the coming months, these zones are being reinstated one by one. Impressive to see this beautiful countryside being farmed once again.

Isn't it funny how you can focus so much on one thing (in my case not crashing the drone) that you miss something completely different?

I was flying along this drainage ditch in Cambridgeshire, capturing footage for a long-standing client, and it was only when I watched the footage back and slowed it down that I saw the bird making its own way along the ditch!

What species is it? I've not been able to identify it from the rear view!

Rather lovely near the end to have captured the bird, its reflection on the water and its shadow....all dancing around together 😊

I enjoyed this job in Norwich today. Filming the lifting into position of a large prefabricated pod forming part of a hospital development. It was great when the rain stopped!

Like a knife through butter! I've grown to love a bit of land drainage. So many farms have been affected over this last winter by standing water on fields. It's a privilege to witness them being brought back to life by work like this.

This trenching machine is in one smooth motion slicing the earth open with what can only be described as a giant chainsaw, the drainage pipe is laid through the blade at the back and the following vehicle pours gravel into the hopper which then flows down the blade and that vehicle then smooths over the trench to leave a minimal visual impact. There is something about filming machinery like this in slow motion which draws the eye and I love using the drone to capture such close-quarters footage. It's not about flying at 400ft but having a steady hand, especially when it is as windy as it was on this particular day.

I am documenting work like this to provide my client with social media material and additional footage which gives them a record of the work carried out, shows off their skills and experience and showcases the specialist machinery.

Proud to have produced this short film of combine harvesters at night - picked up by so generously and liked by so many wonderful people!

is such a wonderful place to live and all of this footage I captured with a drone within about a mile of our home.

I am told by so many people that the music I have chosen makes this exceedingly relaxing to watch so turn up the volume and kick back! 😉

Many are being challenged this year, with a combination of economic factors making it extra difficult. It struck me that we don't see a lot of moving images of what they are up to when we are all sleeping, during one of the most intense periods of their year, grabbing weather windows whenever they occur! So I am sharing this film of night-time operations in south , captured with my latest favourite drone, the 3 Pro. Exceptional stability in flight and an excellent camera!
