A Castle Flooded by Light.

A Busy Bee

My Cherry Blossom tree is in full bloom and it's a bee magnet! Caught this busy bee in mid-flight, heading straight for the flowers. Spring is right around the corner and the bees are loving it.

I recently purchased a 150-500 mm Sigma lens for my Camera. I headed to Thorncombe woods to put it to the test, hoping to capture some wildlife. The woods were quiet, with birds and squirrels proving elusive. However, I stumbled upon a bird hide with bird feeders on the way out. I set up my camera and waited, and soon, great t**s, blue t**s, and goldfinches arrived. The highlight was a Nuthatch, a bird I'd never seen before. It landed twice, and I managed to snap this photo.

This was my first time visiting Knowlton Church and Earthworks. It's a go to spot for any landscape photographer and I wanted to see what the fuss was about. It can be quite eerie walking around in the dark but luckily I didn't see any ghosts. It was a cold and icy morning but the colours in the morning sky were very warm and vibrant. Even on these cold mornings, the sun is bright warming up the landscape.
