A little golden hour magic... ✨

Come behind the scenes of this beautiful portrait session.

This lovely lady is a garden and landscape designer, so photographing her surrounded by wildflowers just felt right. The setting reflected so much of who she is, making the whole session feel beautifully authentic.

It was a special evening for both of us. Watching her confidence grow in front of the camera was such a privilege and seeing the final images come together was one of those moments that reminds me why I love what I do.

And then she sent me these incredibly kind words...

An impromptu seaside portrait session.

Considering this lovely lady had no idea she was going to be in front of the camera that evening, she looked effortlessly beautiful.

As the sun dipped lower and the sea breeze caught her hair, I only needed one quick glance at the back of my camera to know these images were going to be something special.

Sometimes the most unplanned moments become the most unforgettable.

A quick trip to the beach...

It was a time as a photographer to have a stroll and for me to test the location, try different settings and to see if it "worked".

As a Mother it was joyful. I hid behind flowing grasses, wild daisies and beach huts. We played. The sun dipped in and out of the clouds and made my son's hair glow.

As a photographer viewing the photos I'd taken I was delighted.

As a Mother I was grateful. Grateful for another experience I'd captured, another day of my son's childhood forever memorised and another time we spent together as a family.

Sometimes the photographs are wonderful, but the memories behind them are even more precious.
