[Gav] Legend has it!

This was by far my favourite shoot of the year, so it seems only fitting to share with you all as a Christmas gift!

VIP stylized saloons are not a common sight here in the UK so snapping this little gem was a must.

The Honda/Acura comes with all the trimmings and for you VIP fans, you'll find it's now up for sale to fund the next project!

A full shoot will soon be featured among the pages of Banzai Magazine but for now here's just a teaser of what's to follow.

[Gav] Banzai Magazine Nov 19 issue...
Featuring Matty Stevenson EP3 as shot by our very own Mr Adrian Venner.

Go grab yourself a copy today!

The more track action Matty experienced with his Civic Type R, the more addicted he became. And the end result is quite possibly the closest thing you’ll ever find to a touring car with number plates…

Check it out in the November issue now!

[Gav] It's a big day for us at Rimlust and a proud one at that.

Although both Adrian and myself have had previous mentions and published shoots within magazines, Rimlust itself now has the recognition it deserves.

Alongside one of my favourite shoots from my esteemed friend and fellow Rimluster, you will now find the name Rimlust firmly embedded in print form.

"Photos : Adrian Venner @ Rimlust"

The November 19 issue of features our shoot of Track focused EP3.
Words from Sam Preston and Photos from

Expect to see our names popping up in future issues and thanks to all for following and supporting our content.

[Adrian] Does this make anyone else...queasy? Personally I couldn't think of anything worse than a fast car with no driver behind the wheel making it dance through corners. Technology be damned! ;-)

[Adrian] There are a lot of out there concept builds and hybrids and damn right wacky things in the car world...but a GTR powered HiAce...has to be close to taking the proverbial biscuit!! LOVE IT!!

Ju Sung Oh knows how boring vans can be. That's why he decided to build a van that can be exciting by taking a 2016 Toyota HiAce and swapping in a VR38DETT from a Nissan GT-R.

[Rob] Retro Rides Gathering

Having attended my fair share of shows and events over the last 7 or 8 years i would say personally there are two types. There are those you attend once and regardless of whether you enjoyed it or not you can tick it off the list. May go back but not a priority. Then there are those that you could attend every year safe in the knowledge you wont be disappointed!

Among those special events is the Retro Rides Gathering. Currently held at shelsley walsh (having previously been held at various places including Prescott Hillclimb and haynes museum) it is kind of what it says on the tin: a gathering of anything that could be considered retro.

The first year i went it actually formed the start of my honeymoon, having gotten married 2 days before!

I didnt really know what to expect but i was a little concerned that i wouldnt know enough about cars to 'get it'. Thankfully this was not the case..

It is such a fantastic show filled with some incredibly rare and odd vehicles, static displays and hill runs Am and Pm. There are awards for the best of the best and the vibe is actually pretty chill.

Ive been 3 times so far and each time has provided a different experience. Its a small enough venue but they pack a lot in with the massive owners club parking always worth a good look around, the open nature of the paddock allowing you to get up close to some truly special vehicles and the hill itself providing good views all the way up of the brave souls tackling it in their pride an joy!

I would definitely recommend this event to anyone that likes cars, even if your main interest is modern supercars. There is something for everyone; jdm stuff, the ford mob, hot rods, hot hatches, rallycars, engine-swapped oddities.

Add in to this the great food stalls, a wide range of merch and accessory stands, the tat auction for those spending the weekend and the fact that the drive there is lovely too and it is hard not rave about it!

Below is just a small selection of photos i have taken across the 3 years.

[Rob] Payed my first visit to Chateau Impney last week, a rather last minute decision. Brilliant event, genuinely deserving of its 'mini festival of speed' comparisons and an ideal place to get some photos...

[Gav] I know this is still a sore subject for many JDM purists and something we have covered before in certain terms.

However the ongoing debate as to whether or not the New Bmw "Supra" Z4 thing is truly a successor to the 90's legend is still causing friction on the interwebs.

What's more, for those of you who have seen the latest Top Gear episode on your indoor visual box, you may well have noticed the opinions voiced by the new team.

I've always been clear on my own verdict that the car presented by Toyota as the all New Supra is not worthy of its title. For me it should have been a New Celica or a follow on model to the GT86.

Having now had the chance to sit in one at Goodwood, my feelings have not changed as the car feels a little too... Zim Zimmer.

But... Then I spotted this.
The Gazoo Racing Supra.

And... It's awesome!
This bad boy looks like a Supra and feels like one too. It's raw, aggressive and screams "racecar" because that's exactly what it is.

If a kitted "road" example of this was available through dealers, would it be enough to tempt You?
