Life and light in the darkness.
Here are some infrared explorations that never made it onto my grid last year, though it did make an excellent desktop background!
Water absorbs infrared light which is why the river is so dark and plants reflect infrared light making them appear to glow. That's how this beautiful contrast was created when I captured seaweed in the Tay river on a super sunny day. I have also included a shot of the North Carr lighthouse, furthering this visual conmentary.
