A magical encounter with a long-eared owl chick moments after receiving a freshly caught vole from its parent. Watching these intimate family interactions unfold in the wild is always a privilege—and a reminder of the incredible dedication behind every successful fledgling.

Great trip out yesterday to see one of my favourites.

A quiet moment in the woods… a curious fox cub watching the tawny owl, while the tawny keeps a close eye on the cub.

Last night’s visit to the dark wood delivered some incredible encounters 🌙✨

A curious fox cub emerging from the shadows, a badger quietly making its nightly rounds, and the unmistakable stare of a tawny owl watching over the woods. Nights like this are why I love wildlife photography — you never know what’s waiting just beyond the trees.

Patience, silence, and a little luck paid off beautifully last night 🦊🦡🦉

Memories of summer, love getting out to Bempton Cliffs on the east coast.

A wet, foggy start at Yorkshire Photography Hides yesterday we had great views of this male and female kestrel. Perched up despite the fog and drizzle, both were busy keeping an eye on their patch — always a pleasure to watch these stunning birds, whatever the weather.
