The atmosphere in the room at The Bishop was warm and relaxed as Saona took to the stage for her first full solo live gig. Any early nerves quickly settled once she began to sing, and it wasn’t long before the audience was fully engaged. Her voice carried beautifully and powerfully through the venue, and there was a natural honesty to her performance that people clearly and quickly responded to.
As the set went on, the crowd became more and more involved—clapping and singing along, smiling, and offering plenty of encouragement between songs. It was clear that everyone appreciated both the music and the moment, supporting Saona as she took that exciting first step onto the stage on her own.
The venue proved a perfect setting for the evening, its intimate feel helping to create a real sense of connection between Saona and the audience. People were drawn in as they passed by to the point were the door staff had no choice but to turn them away due to reaching capacity. By the end of the night the rapturous applause was literally deafening, with many people clearly delighted to have been there to see Saona’s first solo performance. This was the start of many more packed out performances to come!
