Others feel quieter. More observational.

Where the atmosphere lingers longer than the timeline.

Looking back at the first wedding I photographed.

At the time I was mostly focused on getting things right. Camera settings, timings, the important cues.

The photographs I stop on now are rarely the expected ones.

They tend to be the moments that felt unwatched.

The ones that would’ve happened whether I was there or not.

Looking back, I think those are the photographs that taught me the most.

I think that’s the bit people miss when they see photographers online.

What you don’t usually see is everything around it.

The shifts. The long drives. The editing late at night. The uncertainty of trying to build something alongside normal life.
