Watch as this little cub appears from some bushes and sits for a minute. I managed to get a few images before it ran off to play with its siblings.

Getting older has taught me that peace isn’t found in crowds. It’s in quiet woods, birdsong, and mornings that don’t rush you. Most importantly with family.

Hello everyone.

so I know i set this page up a number of months ago with great plans (which is still going to happen). But having the confidence to put myself infront of the camera just isn't quite there yet 😬.

So i have started but this is just a short video from yesterday I have put together after spotting some common cranes 😀.

Hey everyone 👋

Sorry for the lack of updates and videos lately! I’ve been holding off as I wanted to upgrade my kit first. Just treated myself to a new toy – the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 🎥 – so I can step things up from just using my phone.

The first video will be of myself 😬 (go easy on me!) and after that you’ll get hear from a talented videographer based in Aberdeen. Excited to share what’s coming soon! 🙌

This is a new page as part of something I believe will help others who are starting photography or videography—or wanting to get into it.

In Focus: The Mind Behind the Camera is where stories and snapshots meet. I talk with photographers and videographers from all walks of life about what drives them to pick up the camera, how it shapes their connections, and the role it plays in their mental and emotional well-being. Along the way, I share my own journey—how visual storytelling has helped me navigate life’s challenges—in the hope of inspiring and supporting others who are just starting out.

Things may be slow for the first week while due to work and getting videos in. Please bare with me as its something im totally new to and being infront of the camera instead of behind is hard for me 🤣😬.
