Mange a short walk around Longlands early this morning. There wasn't quite as much wildlife about I was hoping too see, but these two guys sat on the end of a jetty caught my eye.

What a beautiful little girl this amazing 'sweet child of mine' has turned out to be. She definitely knows how to pose for the camera when she wants to.

She also definitely knows how to avoid the camaera, so capturing these beautiful shots of her was such a privilege.

A couple of photos Wayne the Harris hawk from the midday bird of prey display at The Lake District Wildlife park. The displays are always my favourite part of the visit.

It's nice to see the park working hard to meet all the new regulations being introduced to improve the lives of all captive birds and animals.

She was definitely on form yesterday, taking up most of the display time.

Just when I thought this little lady couldn't get any cuter...

She just loves life and if there is one thing she has taught me is to just enjoy the moment, to live every moment like it's your last.

She has such a big and beautiful heart.

A few shots from last week of the dippers in the Kirk Beck running through Beckermet. They were surprisingly undisturbed by my presence and quite happily carried on collecting food from the river and flying off up stream.

Will be keeping my eye out for youngsters over the next week or so.

You have to love these brighter spring day, the longer morning and evening golden hours make for some beautiful photo opportunities. These are a few shots of the lamb around me I've taken over the month.
