What a beautiful day celebrating the marriage of Dionne + Lyall at the stunning Hillhead venue. Despite a few threatening clouds, the rain stayed away at all the right moments, giving Scott the perfect opportunity to capture some truly special memories.

GUYS I blogged 😱 It’s been a long time and shall be sharing in no particular order. I’ve set myself a goal to post something new, then older and some informative posts thrown in there too. Look up in bio to check it out. ⬆️

Not going to lie blogging took a huge back burner for THE longest time. I just couldn’t get it right and with the mental and emotional exhaustion of the past 2 years with my dad I just didn’t have it in me to dig deep and figure things out. Even then it took me until now to do it and take the last 2 days to experiment, watch videos and read up on tips. There were some pretty frustrating moments which I’m not going to lie sucked…for example it took me 9+ hours to get this first blog post up as it needed to be perfect. I struggle with Wordpress not going to lie. However I powered through as this was all about making sure the images were perfect and crisp for our website without slowing things down. Now that I’ve nailed the settings I can streamline things and work it into my workflow.

Who else struggles with this? I just found that there wasn’t a simple solution to the images coming across on all platforms like I wanted them to…hence the hours of tweaking but I’m happy I did it. Scott was probably glad to leave the house and second shoot though 🤣

We can honestly say that we have the best neighbours!!! Getting to know these 3 over the past 7 years ( how has it been nearly 7 years? 😱) has been an added bonus to where we live. Loved capturing these images for them 🫶🏻 thanks for asking me guys.

Golden light, soft moments, and the kind of joy that feels effortless ✨ Sunday at Pollok Park with these two felt like stepping into a world of sunshine, laughter, and quiet in-between moments. Completely natural, completely them — such an ease to photograph.
