With the 25th anniversary of 9/11 approaching, footage from that day is resurfacing online. For those who did not live through it—or were too young to remember—this angle shows the devastating scale of the attack and the moment the second plane struck the World Trade Center.

Some views from yesterday of the Galeón Andalucía—a full-size replica of a 17th-century Spanish galleon now sitting in Ayr Harbour.

At around 160 feet long and weighing approximately 500 tonnes, this six-deck floating museum offers a glimpse of the vessels that once connected Spain, America and the Philippines.

It’s open to visitors until 23 August, giving Ayrshire a rare chance to step aboard a piece of maritime history.
