"Let it go" - artwork from the . Like the other artworks of this project the image is built around the perception of poledance/ polesport taken outside of the aesthetic usually associated to this activity by the public

This picture has a very special feel to me since it was shot at - the gym where my family and I have spent so much time working out together. Additionally, the main subject is my amazing wife who patiently did the same move over and over again until we got it right. Big thanks as well to for acting as secondary character.

Unlike “The rat race” which was more aspirational I tried to get more goofiness and surrealism in this picture.

This is one of my favourite image from the last photoshoot with and I definitely want to use it for a new monoprint. This photo was actually not planned in advance as part of the session but it perfectly capture his personality – a incredibly dedicated, hard-working person but also soooo joyful and fun to be around 🫠💪🤗

"The Rat Race" - First artwork from the , which I started at the end of 2022. This project is very close to my heart as it gravitates around the perception of poledance, which is a community I have been involved with for the past six years. It is sadly often misinterpreted by the public and even in its most litteral expression often goes much further than what meet the eyes. I am trying to show with this series to show the journey of some dancers and what they get out of this practice, without the stigma of showing the actual pole, outfits or accessories.

After years of shooting pole and fitness, I felt like I needed to try something different to bring my models to life. I switched from digital printing to acrylic physical printing using various techniques such as monoprint, negative printing and painting.

Here is an artwork using an image from a shoot with - just love the shape and the sculptural aspect of the final piece 😊
