Throwback Thursday to some years ago now and my fascination with this place was in its infancy, and I was happy to get a beautiful swan in the foreground.

The church of Saint Botolph and Saint John, Croxton Kerrial in September splendour. The majority of the church is in the late Gothic Perpendicular style, as evidenced by the flatter pitch of the windows and roof over the nave. The current structure is believed to have replaced an earlier 12th century church.

A black and white edit of the church where my father used to attend for some fifty years. This year, he and and my mother lie at rest together, reunited now in the cemetery around the church. I hope they are happy together again.❤️❤️
