THAT TIME OF YEAR

Sorry folks, I know you are all super keen to see your photos, but this is an extremely busy time of year for photographers, and when you work predominantly outdoors, the weather can and will royally fluff up any efforts you make to balance your diary and workload.

We’ve had a lot of rain ☔️ Which forces me to move nurseries into dates that were blocked out for admin. Sadly that does slow me down a fair bit, and I now have a traffic jam of editing to get through.

For anyone that’s new to Erin May, it’s just little old me taking the photos, filtering, prepping and uploading them to galleries, editing (every tiny detail) and sending them out, replying to messages calls and emails, and making the tea!

Please be patient while you wait for your galleries and download links. I promise not to keep you waiting any longer than I absolutely have to.

I’m away from my desk for a few days, but as soon as I’m back I’ll be straight back at it.

I’m so grateful that I’m this busy, you’re all pretty spectacular for supporting this small local business. What a difference you all make. Thank you!

PHOTOBOMBING CHICKENS

I’ve just got back from the funniest session. A brilliant little autumnal mini session with a fantastic team of four… and an army of deranged chickens.

No escaping these three. It was like a mad chicken horror movie. They followed us from the lake, up the stairs, through the grounds and right to the car door. Hopefully Jacob and Benjamin will have fond memories to go with their recurring nightmares.

GOLDEN

I met with this wonderful family in the summer for a last minute golden hour mini session. It was way past harvest, but we managed to find a field and absolutely nailed it with the weather. I don't often get asked to photograph older children/young adults, so it's a real treat when I do. Especially when they're as brilliant in front of the camera as Annabel & Tom.

I loved this session.
