Absolutely no prizes for guessing where we've been today!

Finally a day with very little wind so I could get the drone up nice and high for this shot of the Riverside Stadium, the River Tees and the iconic Transporter Bridge.

A quiet day so here's a "remastered" photo from a previous visit to the Lake District.

The iconic Ullswater Steamers have been ferrying passengers around the lake for over 150 years, here's one docked at Pooley Bridge.

A 4K video shot on the DJI Mini 3.

This is one of the preset Quickshots, Helix, that focuses the camera where you tell it to then moves up and out whilst doing a 360 around the subject.

Perfect for showing the stunning setting of St. Germain’s churchyard in Marske-by-the-Sea.

A key attribute for a photographer is patience - I lack this.

When I arrived at Hope Park at the northern end of Derwent Water at 5:30am to be greeted by a wall of mist (see photo in comments), I wasn't going to sit around and wait for it to clear so I went off to other locations.

When I came back the mist had lifted and I was left with a great view of Derwent Isle, Catbells looming in the background and a nice moody sky.

It was suggested that this is the sort of image that's used in those motivational posters so I made one. See the first comment.

A misty morning on Derwent Water, I was on my way up to Surprise View when I passed the highly photogenic Ashness Jetty, it would have been criminal not to stop and take a few shots.
