Orion over the Lordstones

Inspired by words from (and maybe a little envious of her milky way photos) I decided to get off my arse and go find the Milky Way. Unfortunately I found too much light pollution, but not one to waste a trip, I had a wander and found this composition with Orion just above the stone circle at

I haven't done much astro photography and don't have the best setup for it, but I'm happy with the result!

Shooting waves was harder than it looks, editing isn't the easiest either.

Here's a few of my faves taken near El Cotillo, Fuerteventura.

The hills you see in the background of Pic 3 is actually Lanzarote.

Can anyone name this lighthouse?

Built in 1856, it is one of only a few remaining cast iron light houses in the country. It once stood proud on the end of a pier but was moved to this spot when the pier started crumbling into ruins.

NEW WEBSITE LAUNCH!!

www.andrewpaylorphotography.co.uk

Evening All,

I have been working on a new website which is now LIVE!
It combines my Sports Photography (portfolio and links to download race photos) with my Landscape Photography (online store where you can buy prints and frames). I'll also be adding race reports and blogs for those that like to keep up with my adventures and to hopefully inspire others to join in the fun.

Please give me a like, follow my page and share this post to help me get the word out there, it will be massively appreciated.

PS: If I have captured or worked for any of you and would like to leave a testimonial/review to appear on the website, please drop me a message.

Thank You All!!
