A fantastic start to the year — I’m delighted to have received a Commended from the British Institute of Professional Photography for this image, captured during a recent studio shoot with PBS Dance School near Bath.

As a photographer, I’m always striving to refine the way I shape light — carefully controlling its softness and direction to complement the graceful movement and flow of the dancers. Creating images with this kind of dreamy, elegant feel is something I’m incredibly passionate about.

I’m looking forward to working with more dance schools across the Midlands in 2026 and creating beautiful, professional imagery that truly showcases your students and your brand.

I love photographing dance performances.

Peter Pan by Northamptonshire School of dance at The Cripps theatre has been no exception

Such a spectacular show both visually and technically.

I am in awe of the hard work and creative talent of Natalie Carter in putting this amazing show together.
