Delighted to be included in Root to Tip - a three-week showcase of contemporary British craft.
Curated by the UK Craft Council,
Hosted by TOAST, Los Angeles.
19 May - 7 June 2026.

Featuring UK makers who use materials that are dug, grown and gathered:
Dalia James
Jacky Oliver
Jessie White
Julie Gurr
Olga Prinku
Rosa Harradine
Rootfull
Fitch & McAndrew
House of Quinn

It’s all part of the  trade mission, led by the UK Department for Business and Trade, exploring how craft connects people, place and material.

A huge thank you to ,  and of course for creating space to value natural resources and materials that our planet deserves.

Just finished growing this new collection …..
Soon to be on its way to a Japanese restaurant in California.

What I loved most about the commission was the challenge of growing root materials for a specific design. It took some advance planning, timetabling of planting cycles and then the seeds (and co-collaborators 🌱) did wonderful work!
Feels good to see the material come alive with light✨

Grass root vessels, with stone inclusion.
Grateful to have had time in the studio recently, combining grown materials with found objects and exploring the wonders of natural indigo dye! đź’™

Somewhere at the intersection of computational design and biological growth - x 🌱

Behind the scenes we’ve been deliberately blending high-tech computational design with slow-tech biological growth. The result? “programmable” root growth that challenges the boundaries of traditional 3D printing.

Innovation that sits comfortably 🌱

FullSPRING is a 2-year research project between and to see just how far plant roots can grow. By guiding root systems through wool fibres, we create a durable, breathable, and entirely compostable furniture filling.
The innovation is at proof-of-concept stage so if you bring the kind of expertise that pushes ideas into reality, we’d love to talk. Read the full story of our 2-year journey at the link in our bio.
