Finally!
Honestly, I've been trying to grow this for quite a while with not much success but Judy from started me off with this amazing Lunaria variety that goes from purple to shining silver. I've been wearing this Honesty bangle all year, waiting (so if the bangle looks a bit worn, it's because this one is!) I love this stage in the garden when it's less busy getting plants in and busier admiring seed pods 😍

🌸Thrifty by name, thrifty by nature 🌸

Another blustery day in Pembrokeshire, the wind is really getting annoying now but then there's the Sea Thrift dancing on the coast.
In the bleak winter, after a really bad storm, there are usually tiny bits of this plant broken off & blowing around on the rocks. Over the years I've rescued a few broken bits from the tide & popped them in my garden, they don't seem to mind!

Here's my newest addition to the flower gang - Orchid
28,000 species & found on every continent apart from Antarctica - even if their seeds are one of the smallest on earth & dust-like.
One of my favourites is the Marsh Orchid pictured, found growing wild in May meadows in UK.
Mine is copied from a rescued supermarket orchid that sits in my workshop quite content with the low light and neglect! Then it rewards me with flowers that go on and on and on 🥰

Aaahh end of April, that time when everything is starting to feel a bit braver about uncurling & embracing the warmth now that the chance of frost is minimal here in Pembrokeshire.
A Bracken heart & a Fern spiral caught my eye this week. Herb Robert too as I have a Robert!
I feel some more Fern jewellery brewing - maybe set with Moss Agates again & some copper too 🤔
