We’ve been meaning to share this for a little while, and honestly, it’s not an easy post to write ❤
There have been a lot of rumours going around that Photoshoot is closing...we want to gently reassure you that this isn’t true.
What is true is that life has changed for us in a way we never expected.
After over 20 years of pouring his heart into Photoshoot, Jonathan has made the incredibly difficult decision to pass the business into the hands of his partner, Danielle.
Jonathan has recently been diagnosed with a rare muscle-wasting disease. It’s something he wasn’t ready to share at first, and that’s why things have felt a little uncertain or quiet. But he’s now doing his best to come to terms with it, one day at a time.
Photoshoot has always been so much more than just a business to him. It’s been his pride, his passion, and a huge part of his life. Letting go in this way hasn’t been easy.
But this isn’t the end of Photoshoot...it’s simply a new chapter.
Danielle is now the owner, and she’s ready to carry everything Jonathan has built forward with so much love and care. She also has some exciting plans for the future, including giving the shop/studio a fresh new look while keeping the heart of it exactly the same ✨ And please don’t worry… Jonathan is still very much a part of Photoshoot. You’ll still see him in the shop (you really can’t get rid of him that easily ❤️). Danielle is also his full-time carer, so they’ll both continue to be there, just as they always have been, ready for a chat, a laugh, and a catch-up.
This is a difficult time for us, but also one filled with love, strength, and support.
