The view from the pier. Looking out over the humber estuary, foreshore and Humber Bridge on a lovely morning.

Definitely do not try this at home. I didn't realise what shape it was in. I've seen kids hanging about on it from the foreshore and it's not recommended. It should probably be made harder to get to.

Something for the weekend? Take the lovely walk around Bridgehead Park. Entances are close to Tevalis or up the steps behind The One Point building - just across the road from Wingfield Farm pub.

There's a short walk through the trees with lots of art to discover and benches with great views of the Humber Bridge.

If you take the North path, it extends the walk through the masses of bluebells. Dogs are welcome on leads.

Glorious afternoon on the foreshore. Nothing like the sun, light nights and bank holidays to change the mood after a long, dark, wet winter. Hope there's a "spring" in everyone's step.
