It’s true, I do all of those things, but not just because I think it’s what you want to hear.

The truth is, that I photograph what’s in front of me - a vibe - and I go looking for all the rest of those things. If you’re goofy, I photograph that. If you’re sophisticated like you belong in a fashion shoot, I capture that. If your granny is crying during the ceremony - I’m gonna get it.

I go looking for it all, and when it comes together it’s a beautiful thing. (Also, when it looks like it’s falling apart, that’s a beautiful and very real thing too).

Of course your photographer should be able to describe their work, but in truth, when people ask me what my style is, I feel most comfortable with this reply:

“My style is who you are, in time and place, doing things with the people you love”

So, I’m going to spam a whole load of Gate Street Barn weddings, because - why not?

It’s a lovely venue - somewhere I’ve been photographing since 2009. I don’t know how many beautiful weddings I’ve actually shot here, but up until recently I felt like I was part of the furniture in some ways.

Gate Street is a constant - consistently magical, intimate, and open, in a frankly jaw dropping location, run by the best people, and host of the wildest, most energetic parties.

It’s a place to make your mark, and it will stay with you forever.

I’m always looking for new ways to shoot this old favourite, but the truth is, that it’s always the people actually getting married here, and their guests, that make it so special.

It’s time for me to shoot at Gate Street Barn more and more, so please do get in touch if you’re getting married here - I’ve got an amazing offer lined up just for GSB couples.
