After an incredible Mini Festival Day, I’ve been visiting the schools to collect their feedback and drop off the banners and photographs they get to keep as a lasting memory of the experience.
I’ve been blown away by the amazing feedback from the pupils. It has been such a pleasure working with the wonderful primary students from Kesgrave and Martlesham, helping them get out into their local landscapes to explore, create, and connect with nature.
A huge thank you to everyone who took the time to share their thoughts. This is just the first batch of feedback forms from Birchwood Primary, and it’s clear they had the best time!
The feedback is invaluable in helping secure future funding and support for more projects like this. It would be fantastic to make this happen again and give even more children the opportunity to take part.
A huge thank you to Suffolk Cultural Fund, East Suffolk Council, and East Suffolk Partnerships for making this project possible through their generous grants.
Take a look at the incredible feedback and the positive impact this project has had!

Heading to Stowmarket for the Jubilant Festival , can't wait to see all the work from all the students taking part . Loved working with the Stowmarket High School photography students . They explored the produce from shooting in camera taking an image to edit and then manipulating it with AI , writing prompts to animate and evolve the images into motion . Installation is up for 2 weeks at the Food Museum , head over and take a look.
Part of the Stowmarket Culture Group projects and Food Museum .

What a fantastic group of students not only did they produce lots of fantastic images they also contended with the British summer weather , we walked up to Foxhall woods where we had to take shatter under the tree in a down pour . Thank you for your resilience and enthusiasm under rather challenging circumstances. Can't wait to see you all on Monday 22nd June 10.30am at the Bandstand in Kesgrave at the Sports Centre .

Thanks to the funders East Suffolk Council, Suffolk County Council Cultural Fund and East Suffolk Communities Partnerships .
