My word, am I grateful for this opportunity. My first ever media accreditation and it was only with the British Athletics 📸

Being selected as Podium Photographer for this event meant everything and more. Helped to quieten some of the self-doubt temporarily.

I was in awe at the sheer experience around me to the point I felt completely out my depth. Quickly learning that those are the rooms you grow most in.

I didn’t think I was capable of shooting in football stadiums as I didn’t own the biggest lenses. For photography folk, my biggest lens is a 180mm and I knew it would cost me £1000s to upgrade to what’s considered a “standard” setup to be taken seriously in this space.

Thank you to for allowing me to prove myself wrong. Shooting in a stadium had been a goal of mine, after seeing zero female sports photographers on the sidelines of many football games. A small step forward in self-belief. 📈

Loved shooting at Colchester’s ground this weekend for a charity match for mental health.
