We are distraught at the news that our beloved Queen Dolly has passed 😭
Dolly not only wrote songs and performed live into her older age, but she also changed the world through gifting books to children via her Imagination Library
She saw a need, and no matter the cost, she provided children under 5 access to stories, something every child in the world should have. Her legacy was to have fun, smile, work hard but most importantly it was the gift of story telling 💞

We will remember you not just for the rhinestones, but for the books, Dolly 📚 🤍

What we’ve been reading in July 🤍

This month we’ve read a science fiction novel Klara & The Sun by Kazuo Ishiguro
Soon to be adapted to the screen October 2026 starring Jenna Ortega 😍

We also read a historical fiction by Taylor Jenkins Reid ‘Malibu Rising’ 🌊 part of the interconnected series she has with Carrie Soto, Seven Husbands and Daisy Jones!

Both inspired by all the sunshine ☀️ we’ve been having here on the island, have you read either of these two books? What did you think?! 🤔
