Had a great portfolio shoot session with actor, and friend, Jason Wing. We used both film and digital for the shoot and kept it very simple. This one is one we tried to give the feeling of Film Noir and looking up at a street light..

Saddened to hear that Ewen passed away recently. Was a pleasure to work with him on a shoot we did. He was very witty and dry during our session. I hope he is at rest now.

A picture from my headshot studio session with Ewen MacIntosh, today. You may recognise Ewen from The Office, where he played Keith from the accounts department as well as a number of other productions.

We did a selection of light as well as dark background images. Here is one that I thought was just a little different. One light technique has been used to achieve this shot.

Just working through my negatives that I have recently scanned using my DSLR. All editing has been in lightroom and what has been done to the images is what would be possible on a darkroom enlarger.

Fomapan 200 shot at 400. Developed in Bellini Eco Developer and a rodinal chaser. 125ml of eco developer + 1.5ml of rodinal and 250ml of water. This has been digitised using a DSLR. Am much more happier sing this method.
