My tomato plants had a good drink in the morning, and when I got back from work on a hot day they looked like this. So I gave them another good drink and setup a camera on Timelapse to watch them rehydrate. Isn’t nature amazing?

Just noticed I hadn't uploaded anything since January.

It's not that I've not been active with the camera, but I've rarely strayed away from home as I enjoy as many special moments as possible with our year old son. With the lighter nights over the summer I'll be out with the camera getting some golden hour mountain bike shots, and landscape and seascape shots while the wee family is tucked up in bed.

For now, hope you enjoy this shot taken from our hotel balcony in San Antonio, Ibiza. There's a reason Ibiza is famous for it's glorious sunsets.

I've been too busy to get out and about much with the camera recently, so instead of sports and landscapes I've been getting into portraits at home with my lighting gear. Here is a recent one of my lovely wife getting the black background monochrome treatment.

On this day in 1839 the French Academy of Sciences announced to the world a new way of capturing an image using copper plates and silver plating. Photography has come a long way since then and I wonder what they would make of todays technology? Happy World Photo Day!
