Talisker Bay is a gem of a place on the West coast of Skye, near the village of Carbost. It is like something straight out of Jurassic Park, with the high cliffs and huge waterfall. The beach is marbled between gold and black sands, and has colourful boulders scattered around. The bay is sheltered and the perfect spot to make you feel tiny, humble, inspired and salty, all at once!

Possibly one of my most favourite beaches on the planet!

SOLD - Camais Daraich Beach, Point of Sleat, Isle of Skye.

Trying to fit a vast beach scene with Skye’s ever changing light into a small piece of art work can be extremely difficult. So I have combined 3 images all taken at the same location, shot only a few minutes apart. I have added some cardboard and pastels to help convey the textures and colours that I saw at the beach that day.
