What a beautiful afternoon this was with Mercy & Lloyd up at Lake Coniston for their engagement shoot! We were so lucky with the weather and I don’t think they expected to be kicking off their shoes and going for a little paddle, but impromptu moments are the best for natural reactions! ❤️

Love an engagement shoot, it’s a chance for you both to just ‘be’ and have those moments, those photos, that within your busy lives of job, work, children or whatever, you never get chance to pause for. I had an engagement shoot before I got married and I loved them! 🤍 ☕️ It also gives us time to get to know each other, feel at ease in front on the camera and ask any questions and endlessly talk about your wedding photography ideas.

How was this only a few hours ago at the lovely for Tyler & Nathan’s wedding day! It was great to be back~ a nice calm morning (with a little bit of dress-stress but we got there!! 😮‍💨) and then the heavens opened during the ceremony which was absolutely fine as it cleared for the rest of the day for confetti, photos and reception candids! The rain couldn’t have timed itself any better! A beautiful couple ~ a beautiful day! 🤍
