Natasha & Harry had the most beautiful and intimate wedding day in York at with only their closest family as guests - it felt like such a special day to be a part of ✨

We did family photos and portraits in the gorgeous York Museum Gardens followed by a wander through the streets around the Minster, which always make some of my favourite photo memories!

Their reception started with drinks outside in the sunshine at followed by amazing food - I absolutely loved the private dining room, which had the most gorgeous windows with views out to the Minster. 😍

I always love big celebrations, but intimate days like this make me feel so honoured to do what I do! With a slower and relaxed pace, it’s easier to take in all the special details and moments with your closest people.

Jasmine & Dan tied the knot last Thursday at the beautiful Waterton Park Hotel and what a glorious sunny day we had! 🌞

I absolutely loved the golden evening light for portraits and also a fun champagne spray because why not?! 🍾

Bouquet and tissues at the ready 💐 throwback to Tom & Helena’s beautiful day at The Hovels, Harewood last October.

Still obsessed with the pink bridesmaid dresses 😍 I love an injection of colour into a wedding day! And they paired perfectly with the gorgeous florals.

The Hovels is one of my favourite venues to photograph - it has a lovely relaxed and intimate vibe, with beautiful surroundings to enjoy. Not to mention the team are so welcoming and the food, the FOOOOD 😍 second to none!

Group photos and portraits can be so chilled out, since everything is in one place and easy to capture with a short walk. Just a 10/10 all round - can’t wait to be back! 💞

Just a gal with her camera & comfy trainers doing the best job she can for every couple she works with! 🫶

It’s been a while since I posted my own mug on the grid so I thought I would say hi! For anyone new here, I’m Becky 🙋‍♀️ and I love what I do.

My approach to weddings is relaxed and documentary. I move at your pace to work around your day, so photos never have to feel like a chore.

Most of the couples I work with tell me that they’re nervous about having their portraits taken, they feel ‘awkward’ in front of the camera. I always reassure people that it’s normal to feel that way, but I’m here to make it as easy as possible and hopefully part of the day that you enjoy!

My focus is always on the connection between you as a couple or you and your guests - I never want you to feel like you have to ‘perform’ for the camera unless it’s a fun moment that happens on its own. 99% of your day, I’m simply documenting what I see and how your day naturally unfolds, so you can look back and remember how it all felt and not just how it all looked 🙌

My favourite weddings are when people truly enjoy their day and let themselves be present with the people around them - that’s where the magic happens and I can capture all the hugs, laughter, smiles and joy.

Pre-wedding photos at your favourite chippy? Here for it 🙌

Caitlin & Sam wanted their pre-wedding portraits to take place in Castleton in the Peak District, where they had their first date and have made lots of memories together over the years. We had a wander to Peak Cavern, lovingly known as ‘The Devil’s Arse’ 🤣 and then a stroll through the town. They mentioned stopping at their favourite fish & chip shop at the end of our session and these are some of my favourite photos we took!

There’s no rule book for where we take your pre-wedding or even wedding portraits. I want your photos to feel like you! And if there’s somewhere that holds happy memories for you both, then it’s the perfect choice 🤍

Alex & Hannah 🤍 this was a special one for many reasons!

1. Just look at those doggos 🐶 Mouse and Molly did a fantastic job at being ring bearers!
2. Heald’s Hall is such a stunning venue, it made photographing so easy and the team brought such good energy to the day too 🙌 it’s also 5 minutes from my house - the wedding commute dreams are made of 🤣
3. Lord Sauron attended the ceremony and was an honorary witness to the signing of the register
4. Hannah & Alex are so clearly made for eachother, it was beautiful to see - the way they look at eachother, find eachothers hand to hold & enjoyed eachothers company all day. I barely had to guide them through portraits, their love just spoke for itself!
5. I’ve known Hannah since we started uni 13 years ago! (Whoa we are old) what an absolute honour it was to capture her special day. Seeing her and Alex and their gorgeous family just made my heart so full 🥹

Thank you both for letting me be a part of this wonderful day with you, I’ll never forget it 🫶

Mr and Mrs Oglesby 🙌 WHAT A DAY.

Sophie & Alfie were an absolute dream. The love and joy radiated from them all day, as well as from their closest people around them. The vibe was second to none.

Shots before the ceremony with the bridal party, yes including the MOB, go Helen! The most beautiful outdoor ceremony at The Beverley Barn (hurray the weather played ball) followed by many emotional congratulations and some relaxed portraits. Everyone upstanding and waving napkins for a brilliant entrance, followed by the most heartfelt speeches that left not one dry eye in the room (Alfie’s gorgeous words to his Dad in particular got me good)

Thank you both for letting me join in the fun! It was an absolute joy and I can’t wait to edit this full gallery 😍

The bit that got me the most was the very last line ‘if you’re looking for a photographer who genuinely cares, look no further’ because they’re right, I care SO MUCH, about each and every client I work for. I often get booked 1-2 years in advance of weddings and over that time we keep in touch. A lot of couples I work with opt for a pre-wedding session too. By the time we get to the wedding, I feel like I know you and I do everything I can to make the day as enjoyable as possible. I feel emotionally invested, I tear up during the vows and the first kiss. I laugh along at speeches and get a lump in my throat during the tear jerkers too. By the time I’ve edited your gallery and curated your day, it’s been such a labour of love. So yes, it’s my job and my business but I pour my whole heart into it 🤍

Becky & Josh tied the knot at Leeds Civic Hall surrounded by their gorgeous family and what a beautiful day for it! 🌞

Becky started the day at with an emotional first look with her Dad and her ‘something blue’ girls 🩵

The ceremony had everyone shedding happy tears, as the newlyweds’ little ones walked (or rolled!) down the aisle.

Confetti and photos on the steps in the sunshine, they couldn’t have picked a better day. But I’m sure the two sausages buried somewhere near Dakota helped bring out the good weather! 🤣🌞
